 Educational Information Service Center aims to offer students, professors, and staff educational information related to elementary education and general education. To this end, the EISC consists of a library, a computer center, and a museum.

The university library holds more than 110,000 volumes consisting of elementary education materials, domestic and overseas jounals, dissertations and other reference books. It also has a seating capacity of 500. In 1993, the computer library system(LINNET) was introduced, and the electronic library system was introduced in 1998 to cope with the demands of the information age. In 2001, it establitshed the elementary education materials and the DVD sectors and introduced an informational exchange between the university library and the National Assembly Library. Since then, students, professors, and staff have been able to obtain various reference materials and research information.

The computer center endeavors to support sutdents' computer science program, professors' instruction and research, as well as the administrative affairs of the university. It also strives to contribute to the development of the community by helping users to exchange information through computer networks.

 The university museum collects and exhibits a variety of cultural assets from the community. It has a historical gallery designed to preserve Korean heritage and culture for the purpose of enhancing the uniqueness of our culture.

 The Elementary Education Research Institute(EER) was officially launched as an affiliated organization of GNUE, merging the Elementary Education Research Center with the Science Education Research Center in September, 2001. The EERI has demonstrated a strong commitment to educational innovation and the development of elementary schools in Gwangju and Chonnam region. To improve the quality of elementary education, the EERI endeavors to conduct theoretical and empirical studies to develop new teaching-learning materials and instructional methods, to organize colloquiums, workshops, comferences, and seminars, and to publish in the Journal of Elementary Education Research and other journals.

 Through employing individual or group counselling, surveys, and a variety of psychological tests to solve students' problems, the Student Guidance Center aims to assist students in living a stable and rewarding life on campus.

 The student dormitory was built in 1991 to meet the needs of students who live far from the university. The dormitory has a pleasurable environment and is equipped with many convenient facilities that help students' enhance the quality of their lives.

 The University press strives to promote the vibrant culture of the university on the basis of its educational objectives and to foster an academic atmosphere that invites students to explore the truth and enhance their culture. It also strives to contribute to the democratic system of the university and the cultivation of highly qualified teachers.

 The goal of the Educational Broadcasting Station is to develop highly qualified elementary school teachers capable of being leaders in educational broadcasting. It also aims to cultivate students' ability to make sound judgements and enhance their level of cultural awareness.

 The Foundation of Industry-Academic Cooperation(FIAC) was established to promote cooperation between GNUE and industrial companies. This contributes to the improvement of the competitive power of GNUE and the development of the local community.

Recently, the FIAC of GNUE is engaged in various joint ventures with local government and educational organizations. The FIAC supports the NURI project and professors' research activities with off-campus enterprises.
