The Student Council is a reflection of the university culture and consists of the General Student Association, the Departmental Student Association, and the Club Association. The goal of the Student Council is to increase solidarity among students and help them play a leading role in all aspects of their campus lives.

To this end, the council encourages students to develop friendships, special skills, and hobbies by participating in various clubs. The Council also manages various other events including the Punghyang Festival in October, the Children's Day Event in May and the Service Activity in summer.
