Scholarships are awarded on entry to the university and those in course on the basis of superior academic performance. At present, about 75% of undergraduate students at GNUE receive scholarship.

■ Scholarship of Science and Engineering

   Awarded to new students with excellent academic standing and current students who maintain a G.P.A of 2.5 or more.
   The scholarship covers entrance fees, tuition fees, and other expenses.

■ Scholarship of Entrance Fee and Tuition

   Awarded to students whose academic performance is within the top 30% of students enrolled each semester, and who are not the recipients of the Teachers' Duty Scholarship.

■ University Supporting Association Scholarship

   Awarded to students who are recommended by their academic supervisors.

■ Off-Campus Scholarships

   Include the Alumni Association Scholarship, the Gwangju Bank Scholarship, the Scholarship of Daegyo Culural Foundation, the Woodang Scholarship of the Daewoo Foundation, the Memorial Scholarship for Late Kim Yungjae, and others.
